The Role

8Flow is looking for a full-stack engineer team lead to join the founding team to help build on our existing momentum and make our product more valuable and scalable.. Our ideal hire will have a strong desire to work at a startup and shape the vision of the company together with us. You will work closely with the Engineering leadership on creating a high-performant end-to-end product.

What you will do

• Help define the technical architecture and develop the product end-to-end
• Collaborate with our founders and engineering leadership to gather requirements through detailed technical discussions and brainstorming sessions.
• Explore new product development areas driven by a strategic understanding of the user's landscape.
• Take ownership and drive initiatives for segments within the product
• Work with the team to help design the product iteratively to achieve high velocity

Required Experience

• 5+ years of building for the web with a thorough understanding of backend (API design, databases, security), modern frontend (TypeScript, React/Vue, SPA), and cloud/infra (scaling, reliability)
• Strong experience with Web technologies including HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, JavaScript, SQL, Vanilla JS, and DOM (web scraping)
• 5+ years in a cloud-based ecosystem such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
• Experience solving complex technical challenges
• Experience with developing data-intensive applications and building data pipelines
• Experience designing data models and data warehouses and using SQL and NoSQL database management systems
• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field
• Experience developing browser extensions is a plus
