About the Role

We seek candidates with startup experience, adept at setting up and owning the entire machine learning infrastructure and process end-to-end, from 0 to 1. Your primary focus will be designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models that drive our core products. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to integrate these models into our applications and ensure they are robust, scalable, and efficient. Our ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging machine learning to solve complex problems and is excited to work in a dynamic startup environment.

What You Will Do

• Design and develop machine learning models for various applications, including but not limited to transformers, hidden Markov models, GRUs, BERT, GPT, LSTMs, reinforcement learning models, and diffusion models.
• Expertly preprocess and encode unstructured, time series, and structured data into suitable formats for diverse machine learning models.
• Implement cutting-edge machine learning algorithms and frameworks to solve complex problems.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain machine learning models in production environments, ensuring their robustness and reliability.
• Advise on the setup and optimization of the machine learning pipeline, from data collection and preprocessing to model deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Continuously research and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in machine learning and AI, integrating new techniques and methodologies as appropriate.
• Optimize model performance and scalability to meet the demands of large-scale, real-time applications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and innovation

Required Experience

• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.
• Solid understanding of statistical and machine learning concepts
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation
